Glass or plastic privacy laminates provide an alternate solution for architects, interior designers and building contractors faced with conditions less favorable for traditional window treatments. Our privacy laminates look exactly the same from either side. When it is (on) direct light passes through the glass just like any other window. When the window is (off) virtually the same amount of light passes through the glass but it is scattered or diffused. You will receive the same amount of light whether the window is on or off. Even when lights are on inside a room, your privacy is maintained. Specifications: • Film Construction: 2 outer layers of polyester coated with a transparent conductive coating. • Glass Construction: 2 outside layers of strengthened glass, 2 layers of polyurethane laminating adhesives inside the glass. Privacy film placed in center. • Electrical: Consumes less than 1 watt per foot. Minimum voltage requirement is 80 volts AC. Switches from frosted to clear in 25 milliseconds or less.
